[Purposes]The main technologies involved in autonomous driving based on artificial intelli-gence are sort out to provide reference for the innovation and development of intelligent transportation in China.[Methods]Statistical analysis of AI automatic driving technology is carried out from the main pat-ent applicants at home and abroad,typical technologies and other aspects.[Findings]The application number of patents related to autonomous driving based AI is rising,and among them,the domestic enter-prises with the largest number of patent applications are Baidu and Huawei.[Conclusions]The research based on intelligent decision-making and deep learning is constantly advancing both domestically and internationally.At present,the main focus is on improving the safety and reliability of autonomous driv-ing,which puts emphasis on the research and development of intelligent and convenient technologies for autonomous driving.
