Risk Assessment of Geological Hazards in Important Construction Engi-neering Sites in Northern Shaanxi Region
[Purposes]The risk assessment of large-scale site construction projects in northern Shaanxi province is currently conducted considering the combined impact of various factors, including geological hazards such as collapse and landslide,as well as overlying mineral resources.[Methods]This paper presents the methods and contents of risk assessment work based on a large photovoltaic power genera-tion construction project in Fugu County, describing common influencing factors, causes, and prevention measures for typical geological disasters in the area.[Findings]It is preliminarily found that the land-slide and collapse disasters in the overburden area are affected by topography, lithology, rainfall and hu-man factors. The influencing factors of mining collapse are earthquake, groundwater level change and mining activities, which are mainly mining activities in this area.[Conclusions]Considering these fac-tors and the project's specific characteristics, avoidance measures for geological disasters like landslides and collapses should be implemented while long-term monitoring measures are taken for cave-ins.The research results have certain practical significance for guiding the risk assessment of engineering con-struction in this area.
