Study on Development Strategies of Synthetic Biology Industry in Henan Province
[Purposes]This study aims to propose strategies for promoting the development of the synthetic biology industry in Henan province,in order to seize important opportunities for its growth.[Methods]Based on the understanding of the essence and characteristics of synthetic biology,the study analyzes the development status of the synthetic biology industry in Henan province by summarizing the domestic and international paths for the advancement of this industry.[Findings]The study provides insights into the core concepts and industry characteristics of synthetic biology.It also identifies successful experiences and development directions from the domestic and international perspectives.Additionally,the analysis offers an assessment of the current situation,existing challenges,and problems faced by the synthetic bi-ology industry in Henan.[Conclusions]Accordingly,recommendations are proposed to strengthen top-level design,enhance the construction of pilot-scale testing platforms,and establish linkages with tech-nological resources.These strategies aim to effectively promote the development of the synthetic biology industry in Henan,stimulate industrial innovation and transformative upgrading,inject new impetus into the economic development of the province,and facilitate optimization and sustainable development of the industrial structure.
