Research on Factors Affecting the Seismic Performance of High-Rise Buildings with Panel Transfer Layer
[Purposes]This paper aims to investigate the influence of panel transfer layer on the seismic performance of the structure of high-rise buildings.[Methods]This paper uses ANSYS for comparative analysis of the effects of equivalent lateral stiffness on the natural frequency,inter-story displacement, and inter-story drift of high-rise buildings to investigate the seismic performance of the panel transfer layer.[Findings]The natural frequency can be used to assess the stiffness and stability of structures, with lower mode shapes playing a dominant role. The ratio of equivalent lateral stiffness between the lower and upper structures of the transfer level is linearly positively correlated with the thickness of the shear walls at the ground level.[Conclusions]In structural design, adjusting the thickness of the ground-level shear walls can help find the most reasonable ratio of equivalent lateral stiffness, thus en-hancing the seismic performance of the structure, which should be a key consideration during the design phase.
