Given the scientific and technological revolution and the shift in global patterns,Henan Province as a key contributor to the diamond industry,requires immediate implementation of effective measures to foster the deep integration of the diamond industry chain and innovation chain.This is essential for propelling synergistic development and achieving the targeted transformation and modernization of the sector.By constructing an evaluation index system,utilizing the entropy value method,and employing a coupling coordination degree model,a quantitative assessment was conducted on the level of coupling coordination between the diamond industry chain and the innovation chain in Henan Province.Subsequently,the gray correlation model was utilized to analyze the key factors influencing the coupling development between the two chains,revealing potential for enhancing coupling and coordination in Henan Province.Moreover,there exists an imbalance in the levels of coupling and coordination at the local municipal level.Furthermore,the intensity of research and development(R&D)investment,industry chain autonomy,and scaling emerge as the primary driving forces for advancing the development of dual-chain coupling.Hence,to facilitate the advancement of"dual-chain"coupling,it is recommended to commence with the establishment of industrial technology research institutes,fostering the creation of an"industrial brain,"and other related initiatives.
