A New Pest of Pittosporum Tobira—Diaspidiotus Prunorum
Diaspidiotus prunorum(Laing,1931)(Hemiptera:Coccomorpha:Diaspididae)is a thorny,sap-sucking pest that seriously endangers the Paulownia tree and is a newly recorded species in China.The author collected this species from Haitong trees in Xiyuan Park,Luoyang City,Henan Province.Furthermore,the author described its identification features,host plants,geographical distribution,natural enemies,and biological aspects.
