Spatial and Temporal Distribution Characteristics of High Temperature and Its Effects on Crops in Shangqiu During 1961-2020
Based on the daily high temperature observation data of 8 meteorological stations in Shan-gqiu City of Henan Province during 1961-2020,the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and the effect of high temperature in Shangqiu are analyzed by using linear regression, correlation analysis and M-K test. The results show that from 1961 to 2020,the average beginning period of high tempera-ture in Shangqiu showed a significantly delayed trend at the rate of 1.08 d/10yr,and the average end pe-riod was significantly advanced by 1.86 d/10yr.The longest consecutive days of high temperature showed a decreasing trend, the longest consecutive days of annual mean high temperature were 4.9 days, and the longest consecutive high temperature days were 12.7 days. The annual mean number of high temperature days, the longest consecutive high temperature days kept decreasing gradually from southeast to north-west.The annual mean high temperature days showed a significant decreasing trend of-0.59 d/10yr.The number of high temperature days in summer accounted for 93.1% of the total days, and 77.3% oc-curred from June to July. The high temperature raised the risk of corn-choking drought in summer. The high temperature stage coincided with the tasseling powder stage of summer maize happens once every 4 years on average, but twice every 5 years on average in recent 10 years during 1981-2020.The flowering date of summer maize showed a significant advance trend at the rate of-1.65 d/10yr.
