The Neo-Confucianisation and Their Connotational Characteristics of the Aesthetic Thoughts of Elegant Music in the Song Dynasty
During the Northern Song period,Confucianism exhibited a tendency towards moral philosophy,and Neo-Confucianism began to emerge.In the Southern Song period,Neo-Confucianism had undergone comprehensive and in-depth development.During this time,elegant music(ya yue),an important component of Confucianism,was also significantly in-fluenced by Neo-Confucianism and displayed a pronounced tendency towards moralization in its aesthetic thought.By the Southern Song period,ya yue had gradually established a relatively complete aesthetic thought system,rich in content,and primarily encompassing ontology,the theory of Qi,and the theory of mind and nature.
