The Spatio-Temporal Evolution and Impact Mechanism of County's Urbanization in the Perspective of"Ruralism-Ecology"System:Taking Wuling Mountainous Area in Hunan as an Example
The orderly development of the"ruralism-ecology"system is the focus and breakthrough point of county urbanization,and it is of great significance to investigate the development of county urbanization based on the perspective of the"ruralism-ecology"system.Placing the spatial scale in 37 counties in the Wulingshan area of Hunan province,weconstruct an evaluation system for county urbanization development under the"ruralism-ecolo-gy"system,and explore the spatiotemporal evolution and impact mechanism of county urbanization in the Wuling-shan area of Hunan province from 2009 to 2019 using methods such as the Thiel index,nuclear density,and geo-graphic detectors.The conclusions are as follows.(1)The overall level of urbanization development in the county has shown a rapid growth trend,showing a spatial distribution characteristic of"high in the north and low in the south,high in the west and low in the east";There are differences in the development speed and level of the com-prehensive utilization of economic,social,cultural,and ecological factors for the development of county urbaniza-tion.(2)From the perspective of sectors,the development level of urbanization in the county area presents a trend of"Xiangxi prefecture plate,Huaihua plate,Loushao plate and Zhangjiajie plate",with the most obvious differ-ences in Xiangxi prefecture Plate.(3)The center of gravity and interval of the nuclear density curve of county ur-banization development show a trend of rightward shift,with a gradual increase in the movement range.The overall development level has a relatively strong growth momentum.(4)The development of county urbanization is influ-enced by internal and external factors such as economic development,social security,local culture,and ecological resources.
