Study on the Evolution of Spatial and Temporal Characteristics of Urban Tourism Competitiveness in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle under the Background of High-Quality Development
Based on the background of high-quality development,this paper constructed an urban tourism competitiveness model from competition and cooperation.Taking the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle as the re-search area,this paper analyzed the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of urban tourism in the region through the linear weighting method and social network analysis.The research results are as follows.(1)The com-petitiveness of urban tourism in the Chengdu-Chongqing region shows obvious stratification characteristics,and the order changes are not obvious,with Chengdu-Chongqing in the top two levels for a long time,while other cities show low-level club convergence and the middle order is missing.(2)The competitiveness of urban tourism is in-fluenced by both internal and external competitiveness,in which internal competitiveness plays a key role and ex-ternal competitiveness have a moderating role.(3)Spatially,the tourism competitiveness of cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing region presents a radial spider web structure with Chengdu and Chongqing as strong cores.Chengdu and Chongqing play the role of"engine",meanwhile the overall spatial network gradually tends to be complex and sta-ble;(4)Core area of urban tourism competitiveness in Chengdu-Chongqing region is expanding.The spatial spillo-ver effect of tourism development in the core area cities is greater than that in the peripheral area cities,while the internal and external links between the peripheral area cities are relatively loose.These are confirmed again in the analysis of the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics of the tourism attraction index.Based on the above findings,this paper proposes recommendations such as cultivating growth poles,improving the efficiency of all fac-tors in tourism,cooperating from multiple dimensions and improving the transportation system,to promote the level of tourism competitiveness in the Chengdu-Chongqing region to a higher level.
