Analysis on the Dynamic Changes in Spatio-Temporal Pattern of Farmland Landscape Safety in the Chang-Zhu-Tan Area
The analysis of spatial and temporal changes in the regional farmland landscape security is of great significance for coordinating the urban development and farmland security protection in the Chang-Zhu-Tan area. This study used land use data from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth of the Chinese Academy of Sci-ences to analyze farmland landscapes.Five key indices of farmland landscape patterns were calculated in this study. These indices included landscape type patch fragmentation, landscape type boundary fragmentation,area-weighted form factor, fractal dimension and landscape separation, applied at both patch and landscape scales. These metrics allowed us to develop an agricultural landscape security model, which was then used to quantitatively evaluate the security and change of farmland landscape in the Chang-Zhu-Tan area from 1995 to 2020.The results are as follows.(1)The farmland landscape security index in the Chang-Zhu-Tan area decreases from 0.470 9 to 0.258 1,and the overall level of farmland landscape security shows a decreasing trend.(2)The changes of the farmland safety index in each region can be divided into three types:fluctuation decreasing type, dynamic stable type and small increas-ing type.Compared with 1995,the areas with low farmland safety grades in the Chang-Zhu-Tan area have been ex-panded from near-middle suburban counties to all counties except Liuyang city,Chaling county,Yanling county and the municipal district of Changsha in 2020.(3)The fragmentation of farmland landscape is increasing, the separation of farmland landscape in most areas is improved, and the shape of farmland patches in some near-middle suburban areas needs to be further normalized, which is the main risk of farmland landscape security in the Chang-Zhu-Tan area.
