Study on the Impact of Environmental Regulation on Tourism Ecological Security of the Urban Agglomerations in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River
It is an inevitable requirement for the high quality development of regional tourism industry to ex-amine the impact of environmental regulation on tourism ecological safety scientifically.Taking the urban agglomera-tion in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River as a case region, the tourism ecological security evaluation index system was constructed based on the DPSIR model framework, and then entropy method, geospatial analysis method and panel regression model were adopted to characterize and analyze the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics and their role relationship between environmental regulation and tourism ecological security. The research findings are as follows.(1)In terms of time, the overall environmental regulation of urban agglomerations in the middle rea-ches of the Yangtze River presents a"fluctuating"upward trend, and the stage differentiation is distinctive. The overall level of tourism ecological security is on the rise, but the comprehensive level is low,and the evolutionary situation is characterized by succession from"steady growth"to"steep growth".(2)In spatial dimension,envi-ronmental regulation and tourism ecological security level of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yan-gtze River have prominent spatial non-balance characteristics, with the former showing a spatial development trend of"core forming a sheet and local forming a spot",while the latter is manifested as the central city radiating to the surrounding areas and gradually forming a spatial pattern of medium and high level continuous distribution.(3)En-vironmental regulation of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has a significant positive impact on tourism ecological security, but the spatial heterogeneity is prominent, and the differentiation pattern of"Poyang Lake urban agglomeration,Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration,Wuhan metropolitan area"is formed.(4)Except for environmental regulation, the temporal and spatial changes of tourism ecological security in urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River are positively correlated with other control varia-bles,and the influence degree of all studied variables presents a sequence pattern of"industrial structure upgra-ding,environmental regulation, urbanization level, scientific and technological innovation, population quality".
