Rhetoric is a complex language activity.The process of rhetoric is,in essence,is the process of lan-guage resource allocation,which needs to meet the specific thematic situation and strive towards the expected rheto-ric goal.Therefore,the rhetorical subject(the expresser)must follow certain principles in the process of language resource allocation.Among them,there are three basic principles that the rhetoric subject must always keep in mind and follow,namely,the the principle of"attaining the standard in increment",the principle of"attaining the standard in diminition",and the principle of"adjusting to changes by regulation".
