The Writing Difficulties and Solutions of Chinese Network Detective Novels
Traditional Chinese popular literature has achieved overall prosperity by virtue of the network,for commercial writing has promoted the development of the network narrative and cultural influence;while the network detective novel has fallen into a writing dilemma.As such,not only are there almost no network detective novels vis-ible on mainstream literary websites,but there are also no representative works of network detective novel authors,and they are rarely selected on various authoritative lists.In short,the development of Chinese network detective novels has fallen into a dilemma,which is determined by the following two causes.Firstly,there is an inherent defi-ciency in the traditional Chinese detective novel writing,which has not changed much in the network era;secondly,detective novels are not compatible with the existing writing mechanism of the"popular network fiction",for not all types can exist in the form of super-long and simple-plotted stories.Therefore,it is necessary and responsible for the academic community to find a way out for the development of network detective novels.Compared with the current"starting point model"that has achieved great success,the"Douban model"centered on competitions and copyright development may be more conducive to promoting the development of Chinese network detective novels.
