On the Application of ChatGPT in the Teaching of Academic Chinese Writing
This study aims to explore the potential and limitations of applying ChatGPT in the teaching of aca-demic writing in international Chinese language education.Through specific case studies,ChatGPT can,as pointed out in this paper,assist international students in selecting topics,grasping core literature,improving topics,ab-stracts,key words,correcting language errors,formatting,and predicting opposing viewpoints.Teachers can utilize ChatGPT to design practice materials for academic Chinese writing instruction,acquire basic writing knowledge in the feedback process of paper evaluation,and assist in grading papers.However,there are some limitations in the use of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT for academic writing insruction,such as the limited knowledge of the professional field of artificial intelligence tools,as well as the lack of a clear learning path and structure,which will lead to the risk of students'excessive reliance on artificial intelligence tools and potential academic ethical problems.Therefore,it is necessary to combine artificial intelligence tools with human identification so as to maxi-mize the integration effect of artificial intelligence technology and education.
