A Study of Haikou Traditional Ballads from the Perspective of Chinese Cultural Construction
The construction of Chinese culture aims to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional cul-ture of the Chinese nation,and Haikou traditional ballads,as a traditional oral culture,record the imprints of Haikou,Hainan and China in their respective special period,which is just an important part of the Chinese culture and deserves more attention.However,at present,on the one hand there emerge in society increasingly diversified cultural forms with the help of mass media,which impacts the living space of traditional ballads;while on the other hand,the protection and study of Haikou traditional ballads are still far from enough,so the study of Haikou tradi-tional ballads urgently needs to be followed up.This paper proposes a"three structure"framework for studying bal-lads,which takes"national ballads,local ballads,and regional ballads"as the perspective to determine their posi-tion in different systems of Chinese cultural symbols.Finally,in the light of the development trend of new Haikou traditional ballads,the paper discusses the greater significance of Haikou traditional ballads in the context of Chi-nese culture from a self-generative perspective,so as to carry forward the past and pass on the Haikou traditional ballads as a cultural symbol from generation to generation.
