Research progress on fracture mechanics of concrete-rock interface
For concrete structures built on rock foundations, the concrete-rock interface is a weak place that affects the strength and stability of the structure.Flawed crack patterns in concrete-rock interface may expand under complex loading, thus leading to the detriments of structures.Research on the crack of concrete-rock interface to determine its parameters and performance is of significance for enhancing structural stability and durability.Although there have been many experimental studies on the fracture of concrete and rock, the research on the fracture characteristics of their interface is still in its infancy. It studies on fracture tests of concrete-rock interface under static and dynamic loading and approaches the fracture parameters and crack pattern expansion under such circumstances.Strain rate under dynamic loading is also discussed.
