Research progress on concrete attacked by sulfate based on chemical thermodynamics and multi-scale
The existing achievements of the durability issues of concrete sulfate attack,including the analysis of concrete sulfate attack based on the chemical thermodynamics theory,micro components,meso-scale damage and macroscopic performances of concrete attacked by sulfate,and the multi-scale damage of concrete sulfate attack for modeling,were concluded.The results manifest that the existing re-searches mostly base on singal-scale damage for concrete sulfate attack including micro,micro and macro scale.The explorations and re-searches on the concrete sulfate attack for the scale-span correlative coupling are still rare.Moreover,the traditional damage evaluation indi-cators reflect,characterizations,quantitative parameters cannot reflect variety damage of the concrete sulfate attack,which cannot quantify damage feature layer by layer of concrete surface cover and diversity damage modes.Therefore,it has some realistic significance to research the damage and dynamic evolvement process of concrete sulfate attack based on the chemical thermodynamics and multi-scale theory.
