Experimental study on performance of microwave-enhanced coarse aggregate recycled concrete
The recycled coarse aggregate was reinforced with the aid of microwave-assisted mechanical technology, and the mechanical properties of the reinforced recycled concrete were analyzed by macroscopic and microscopic tests with the substitution rate and age as variables. The research results show that the failure patterns of reinforced recycled concrete are similar to that of ordinary concrete, and its compressive strength is improved compared with that of unreinforced recycled concrete.Microwave strengthening technology improves the defects of recycled coarse aggregate itself, making it closer to natural aggregate. These results verify the superiority of microwave-assisted mechanical strengthening of recycled coarse aggregate, which can be used instead of natural aggregate under certain conditions.
