Study on accelerated corrosion deterioration behavior of reinforced concrete in saline soil environment
Aiming at the serious disease of reinforced concrete under the action of various strong corrosive ions in the saline soil area, the indoor current accelerating corrosion experiment of reinforced concrete was designed with soil samples in the saline soil area as the electrolyte. The deterioration behavior of reinforced concrete in saline soil environment was evaluated by electrochemical testing, macro morphology observation, measurement of corrosion depth of steel bars, analysis of morphology and composition of corrosion products on steel bars surface. The results show that the polarization resistance of steel bars in reinforced concrete and the resistance of concrete cover decrease with the increase of accelerated corrosion time. The corrosion of steel bars is the result of the combined action of applied current and chloride ions.Affected by the pH value of pore solution, the addition of mineral admixtures did not improve the corrosion resistance of reinforced concrete in the current accelerating corrosion environment.
