Experimental study on sea sand desalination effect based on capacitive deionization
Sea sand desalination is the key to the effective use of sea sand resources.Capacitive deionization can effectively adsorb chloride ions in solution.Sea sand desalination method based on capacitive deionization is proposed,which can realize the enrichment of chloride ions on the anode surface and realize the desalination of the solution.Carbon fiber cloth,aluminum foam and nickel foam were selected as electrode materials,and the dechlorination effect of capacitive deionization under different electrode materials was analyzed.The results show that after 5 times of desalination of sea sand by capacitive deionization,all three electrode materials can reduce the chloride ion content in sea sand to below the standard specification.The combination of aluminum foam and carbon fiber cloth has the best dechlorination effect.When nickel foam is used alone as the electrode material,the dechlorination effect is better than that of carbon fiber cloth alone.Purifying sea sand by capacitive deionization can save more than 65%water than by water washing method.
