Experimental study on the effect of chemical composition of fly ash on its inhibition of alkali aggregate reaction
The effect of fly ash with different chemical composition on inhibiting alkali aggregate reaction was studied by rapid mortar bar method.The test shows that the inhibition effectiveness of F type fly ash on alkali aggregate reaction is obviously better than that of C type fly ash,and the higher the content of fly ash is,the better the inhibition effect is.Statistical analysis shows that there is a good correlation between the chemical composition of fly ash and its inhibition effectiveness on alkali aggregate reaction.The inhibition effectiveness has a linear positive correlation with the total mass fraction of SiO2+Al2O3+Fe2O3,a linear negative correlation with CaO content,and no direct correlation with alkali content.
