Experimental study on the performance of lightweight concrete with waste clay brick aggregate
The application of waste clay brick aggregate in lightweight concrete can realize the reuse of construction waste, simultaneously save construction materials and improve the performance of lightweight concrete.Taking waste clay brick particles as aggregate, the lightweight concrete preparation test was carried out to study the influence of different water cement ratio, foam content and fiber content on the physical and mechanical properties of waste clay brick aggregate lightweight concrete. The results showed that with the increase of the water-cement ratio, the water absorption rate increased by 27.03%.The foam content significantly affected the dry density, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength. With the increase of the foam content, the dry density, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength decreased by 17.78%,52.52%and 34.83%,and the corresponding relationship between compressive strength and dry density, splitting tensile strength was established.
