Research status of air entraining agent in low pressure environment of plateau
The environment with large temperature difference in plateau area leads to serious freeze-thaw damage and poor frost resistance of concrete.The addition of air entraining agent(AEA)can improve the frost resistance of concrete,which can partially solve the above issues.However,compared with the plain environment,the performance of conventional AEA is significantly affected due to the low plateau pressure.The aim is therefore to investigate the performance of AEA in plateau concrete by comprehensively analyzing its effect,mechanism and application technology in plateau condition.Through the comprehensive analysis,the method to improve the use of AEA in plateau area,the existing problems and the direction of research was proposed to widen the application of AEA in plateau concrete.
