Influence of S105 slag powder content on the workability and mechanical properties of concrete
In order to study the influence of slag powder content on the workability and mechanical properties of concrete,S105 grade slag powder was taken as the research object,and the influence of slag powder content on the workability of concrete was evaluated through slump and expansion tests,and the influence of slag powder content on the mechanical properties of concrete was evaluated through compressive strength,flexural strength and splitting tensile strength tests.The test results show that the greater the content of S1 05 slag powder,the greater the slump and expansion of C50 high-performance concrete.When the content of slag powder is 20%,the slump and expansion of concrete can reach 230 mm and 510 mm respectively,and the working performance is significantly improved.However,the compressive strength,flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of C50 high-performance concrete specimens show a trend of"increasing first and then decreasing"with the increase of the content of S105 slag powder.When the content of slag powder is 20%,the compressive strength,flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of concrete specimens cured for 7 days and 28 days can reach the maximum,and the mechanical properties have also been significantly improved.However,when the content of slag powder is too large,the mechanical properties of C50 high-performance concrete specimens will be significantly reduced.Therefore,considering the working and mechanical properties of concrete,it is recommended that the content of S105 slag powder should not exceed 20%.
