Experimental study on the influence of mix proportion of high volume building solid waste recycled concrete on strength
It conducted a study on the influence of the proportion of recycled concrete with a large amount of construction solid waste on its strength.Research results show that when the replacement rate of recycled coarse aggregate is increased, the physical properties of concrete change, and the compressive strength shows a gradually decreasing trend.Taking ordinary concrete with a substitution rate of 0 as a reference, the strength of recycled concrete decreased by 0.7 MPa,2.4 MPa,and 4.5 MPa when the replacement rates were 8.5%,15.5%,and 22.5%,respectively.As the coarse aggregate particle size increases, the overall compressive strength value of recycled concrete decreases, with a minimum difference of 0.5 MPa and a maximum difference of 2.4 MPa.Due to the increased replacement rate of recycled coarse aggregate, the impact on recycled concrete is also reflected in the split tensile strength value.Taking 8.5%,15.5%and 22.5%as the replacement rate, compared with the reference group, the splitting tensile strength of concrete is reduced by 0.09 MPa,0.24 MPa,and 0.44 MPa,respectively.Compared to the HQD-22.5 test group,in the HLX test group, the splitting tensile strength is not higher. This is because the splitting tensile strength is influenced by the strength of the coarse aggregate itself and the strength of the hardened cement mortar. The grading of the coarse aggregate has a small impact on it.When designing the mix proportion, some natural coarse aggregates can be replaced by recycled coarse aggregates with smaller particle sizes containing brick particles in an equal volume manner.
