Experimental study on mechanical properties of one-component alkali slag mortar
Alkali slag cementation materials were prepared by using gypsum, sodium sulfate, sodium carbonate and sodium meta silicate as initiators using slag as raw materials, and the effects of the type and dosage of initiators on their mechanical properties were discussed. The results showed that under the condition of 0.5 water-to-adhesive ratio, with the increase of gypsum and sodium sulfate, the strength of slag-based cementation materials first increased and then decreased, and the 28 d compressive strength reached the maximum value,20.18 MPa and 23.18 MPa,respectively, when the dosage was 5%and 7%,respectively.With the increase of sodium carbonate and sodium meta silicate, the strength of slag-based cementation materials gradually increased, and when the content of sodium carbonate and sodium meta silicate was 9%,the compressive strength of 28 d reached the maximum, which was 28.21 MPa and 29.15 MPa,respectively. The order of 28 d strength of the four initiators to excite slag-based cementation materials is gypsum<sodium sulfate<sodium carbonate<sodium meta silicate.
