Nano-magnesium oxide has been used as a new expansion agent in cement-based concrete, and fly ash also has a certain influence on the deformation properties of concrete. The expansion deformation(free expansion deformation and limited expansion deformation)and crack resistance(elastic strength ratio and crack resistance index K)of concrete were studied by compounding 4%and 6%nano-magnesium oxide with 10%and 20%fly ash.The results show that with the increase of nano-magnesium oxide content, the expansion deformation of concrete specimens increases. The expansion deformation effect of fly ash concrete specimens with a compound content of 10%is better than that of 20%.During the 120 day age period, the crack resistance of nano-magnesium oxide-modified fly ash concrete first decreased slightly and then increased significantly, and the crack resistance of modified concrete mixed with 6%nano-magnesium oxide and 10%fly ash was the best.
