Investigation on the influence of carbon fiber content on the mechanical properties of recycled concrete materials
The raw materials of recycled concrete come from the reuse of waste concrete, which contains excessive impurities,low-quality aggregates, etc.,seriously affecting the compactness and structural stability of recycled concrete, leading to unstable mechanical properties. In order to improve the mechanical properties of recycled concrete and enhance its overall effectiveness, specimens of recycled concrete with different carbon fiber dosages were prepared, and the mechanical properties of the specimens were tested using instruments and equipment. The dispersed carbon fiber content is 0,0.15%,0.25%,and 0.45%,respectively.Recycled concrete specimens are prepared using recycled aggregates and different amounts of carbon fibers.According to the carbon fiber content, specimens SJ1,SJ2,SJ3,and SJ4 are labeled. The mechanical properties of each specimen are tested using universal testing machines and other equipment. The test results show that different levels of carbon fiber can effectively reduce the micro pore size of recycled concrete specimens. The micro pore size of SJ4 recycled concrete specimens with a carbon fiber content of 0.45%is 1~2 mm,which increases the density and cohesion of recycled concrete, thereby improving the mechanical properties of recycled concrete specimens.Although SJ2 and SJ3 with 0.15%and 0.25%carbon fiber can also improve the compressive strength, splitting strength and flexural strength of recycled concrete,SJ4 with 0.45%carbon fiber has a better effect on improving the mechanical properties of recycled concrete.
