Preparation and performance study of circulating fluidized bed slag-based geopolymer
A geopolymer was prepared by using circulating fluidized bed(CFB)slag as the main raw material, with an appropriate content of Na2SiO3,KOH,and NaCl ternary composite activator added. The mechanical properties and resistance to seawater erosion were studied, and the microscopic analysis was conducted. The results show that the prepared slag-based geopolymer has early strength characteristics, with the 7 d compressive strength of 61.62 MPa.Composite activators can promote the activation of quartz and kyanite phases in slag, alter the crystal structure of calcium feldspar phases, and generate a large amount of amorphous phases, thus makinge the internal structure of the matrix more compact. The compressive strength of slag-based geopolymer after 28 times of dry-wet cycles in water and simulated seawater is 49.66 MPa and 38.41 MPa,respectively.
