Clinical Outcome of Solyx and TVT-O Surgery of Stress urinary incontience
Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of Solyx single incision midurethral tension-free suspension and transobtu-rator midurethral tension-free suspension(TVT-O)in the treatment of SUI in women. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for 102 female patients with SUI admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from 2020-01 to 2021-06.According to the surgical method they were divided into Sloyx group(58 cases)and TVT-O group(44 cases).Statistical analysis of general data, surgical out-comes,postoperative quality of life and complications were performed for both groups of the patients. Results There were no significant differ-ences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss and incidence of postoperative dysuria between the two groups(P>0.05).After 48 h of ure-thral catheter removal the residual urine volume of patients in the Solyx group was less than that in the TVT-O group, the incidence of postoper-ative inner thigh pain was lower than that in the TVT-O group. There were no significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).At 1,6 and 12 months after surgery, the objective and subjective cureative rates of the two groups were>90%,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Solyx single incision suspension and TVT-O have good safety and efficacy in the treatment of stress urinary inconti-nence in women.
