Status of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with multiple injuries and its impact on quality of life
Objective To explore the status quo of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)in patients with multiple injuries and its in-fluence on quality of life,so as to provide reference for promoting mental health and improving quality of life of patients.Methods Totally 126 patients with multiple injuries were investigated by general data questionnaire,civilian scale of post-traumatic stress disorder and abbreviated quality of life scale.Results The total score of post-traumatic emergency disorder was(43.95±11.39)(Range:17~85)points,and the total score of quality of life was(69.45±10.39)(Range:17~85)points.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the total score of PTSD and the scores of all dimensions were negatively correlated with the total score of quality of life(P<0.01).Hierarchical regression analysis showed that post-traumatic stress disorder was an important predictor of quality of life in patients with multiple injuries,independently explaining 10.3%of the variation in quality of life.Conclusion Post-traumatic stress disorder is an important factor affecting the quality of life of patients with multi-ple injuries.Clinical staff can improve the quality of life of patients with multiple injuries by reducing post-traumatic stress disorder.
