Investigation and analysis of public health rescue and treatment capacity among 143 secondary and above hospitals in Henan province
Objective To understand the changes of public health rescue and treatment capacity in secondary and above hospitals in the past 10 years,and provide reference for future public health treatment capacity building.Methods By sending an electronic questionnaire to the target hospitals,the data on the public health rescue and treatment capacity of secondary and above hospitals in Henan province in 2010 and 2019 were collected and analyzed and statistically tested.Results A total of 143 secondary and above hospitals were selected,15 of which were upgraded to tertiary hospitals.The total number of employees in 143 hospitals increased by 63.34%,and all kinds of human resources increased except health care department(all P<0.05).In terms of daily equipment,ventilators increased by 148.74%.The total investment increased,but the proportion of government financial investment and health administration department investment in public health rescue and treatment decreased by 7.31%and 6.51%,respectively,compared with 2010.In terms of informatization,the establishment rate of hospital information management system reached 95.10%,and that of telemedicine reached 76.92%(both P<0.05).Public health treatment system construction rate,public health treatment training and treatment capacity,infectious disease pathogen detection were all developed(all P<0.05).Conclusions From 2010 to 2019,the public health rescue and treatment capacity of secondary and above hospitals in Henan province has been significantly improved,but there are also problems such as insufficient emergency fund investment and unbalanced public health treatment capacity,which suggests that relevant government departments should take certain measures to improve the overall level of public health treatment in Henan province.
