Analysis of inter-laboratory comparison results of Listeria monocytogenes detection among the disease control institutions at the grass roots in Henan province in 2021
Objective To scientifically evaluate the technical level of detection of Listeria monocytogenes in food by primary disease control institutions and ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results through the inter-laboratory comparison among disease control institutions at the grass roots in Henan province. Methods The quality control samples of three kinds of mixed bacteria A,B and C were prepared and distributed to 36 disease control institutions at the grass roots in the province in May 2021.Qualitative detection and identification were carried out according to GB 4789.30-2016,and the test results of each participating laboratory were evaluated according to the test conclusions and operation steps. Results The qualified rate for samples B and C reached 100.0%,and the qualified rate for sample A was the lowest, which was 83.3%(30/36).The qualified rate in the laboratories of the 18 prefecture-level cities and demonstration areas was 100.0%,and the qualified rate in the laboratories of 18 cities and counties(districts)was 66.7%(12/18).There was a statistical difference in the qualified rate of inter-laboratory comparison among different administrative levels of disease control institutions(x2=5.250,P<0.05).All 36 laboratories completed the final confirmation and identification of Listeria monocytogenes by hemolysis test. Conclusions It should be focused on strengthening the detection level of Listeria monocytogenes in food in the disease control institutions at city/county(district)level.
