Monitoring results on water quality of ready-made and sold drinking water in Zhengzhou in 2020
Objective To understand the water quality status of ready-made and sold drinking water(RMSDW)in Zhengzhou,Henan province,and provides scientific evidence and technical support for the government to formulate laws and regulations on the health supervision and management of RMSDW,and the reference for consumers to drink RMSDW.Methods From October to November in 2020,water samples were collected from randomly RMSDW machines in the 9 districts of the main urban area of Zhengzhou city.sensory indicators,general chemical indicators and microbial indicators were detected in accordance with the Standard Inspection Methods for Drinking Water,and evaluated according to the corresponding indicators listed by the Standards for Drinking Water Quality and the water quality processor;at the same time,on-site investigation of the installation and operation management for RMSDW equipment was carried out.Results Water samples were collected from 400 automatic vending machines,and 346 of them passed all indicators,with a pass rate of 86.50%.The passing rate was 99.00%for sensory indicators,93.50%for general chemical indicators and 93.25%for microbial indicators.The passing rate for sensory indicators was higher than that for general chemical indicators and microbial indicators,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=18.677,P<0.05).The on-site investigation showed that the qualified rates of RMSDW equipment holding hygiene permits documents and using municipal tap water as the water source were 100.00%.The site selection and design qualified rate was 88.75%,while the qualified rates for equipment registration,operation maintenance,water quality testing,and information disclosure were relatively low,which were 18.25%,41.25%,45.50%,and 12.00%,respectively.Conclusions The overall quality of RMSDW in Zhengzhou is good,but there are numerous issues with hygiene management.Business operators need to strengthen their main responsibility and regulate their own business behavior.Regulatory departments need to formulate a unified regulatory basis,innovate supervision models,and form a joint social supervision force to ensure the hygiene and safety of RMSDW and protect people's health.
