Analysis on pathogenic characteristics and drug resistance of Vibrio Parahaemolyticus strains isolated from clinical specimens in Changping district of Beijing
Objective To understand the pathogenic characteristics including serotype distribution, molecular characteristic and virulence genes, and drug resistance of Vibrio Parahaemolyticus strains in Changping district of Beijing. Methods In total,134 strains of Vibrio Parahaemolyticus isolated in Changping district of Beijing between 2015 and 2019 were analyzed by serotyping, multilocus sequence typing(MLST),tlh/tdh/trh virulence genes detection and antimicrobial susceptibility testing of 12 antibiotics. Results Among the 134 Vibrio Parahaemolyticus strains,13 serotypes were detected, and O3:K6(73.88%)was the dominant serotype.A total of 31 sequence types(STs)were assigned, and the predominant STs were ST655(59.70%).Two virulence genes profiles were found, and the dominant virulence genes profile was tlh+tdh+trh-(94.78%).The resistance rate of cefazolin(97.01%)was highest, followed by ampicillin(56.72%).Conclusions Vibrio Parahaemolyticus strains causing diarrhea has severe drug resistance in Changping district,Beijing. The dominant serotype was O3:K6,and the predominant STs was ST655.Most strains had the virulence gene profile tlh+tdh+trh-.
