Current status and influencing factors of non-suicidal self-injury behavior in high-school students with depression in urban area of Luoyang,Henan
Objective To investigate the current status of non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI)in high-school students with depression in urban area of Luoyang,and analyze its influencing factors.Methods From March-May,2023,the cluster random sampling method was used to screen the cases of NSSI in high-school students with depression in Luoyang;the detection rates in different characteristics were compared;multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of NSSI.Results Of 1 498 middle school students,151 cases of depression were screened out,with the detection rate of 10.08%;of the depression cases,36 had NSSI,accounting for 23.84%.Among them,24 cases were female,and 24 cases were from single-parent or divorced or reorganized families(66.67%);26 cases had monthly family incomes ≤6 000 yuan(72.22%);23 cases had childhood trauma experience,and 23 cases were from dysfunctional family(63.89%);16 cases suffered from moderate depression(44.44%).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that childhood traumatic experience(OR=12.219,95%CI:3.959-37.711),dysfunctional family(OR=0.096,95%CI:0.030-0.302),moderate depression(OR=4.351,95%CI:1.290-14.681)and severe depression(OR=8.184,95%CI:1.980-33.825)were the influencing factors of NSSI in high-school students with depression.Conclusions The occurrence of NSSI in high-school students with depression is associated with the traumatic experience of childhood,personal family environment and the severity of depression symptom,etc.It is necessary to comprehensively assess the characteristics of depression in high-school students and formulate targeted psychological intervention measures and treatment programs.
