The characteristics of new occupational pneumoconiosis cases in Ganzhou,Jiangxi,from 2017 to 2023
Objective To analyze the incidence characteristics of new occupational pneumoconiosis cases in Ganzhou from 2017 to 2023,and provide scientific evidence for the construction of follow-up pneumoconiosis rehabilitation stations and the prevention and treatment of occupational diseases.Methods The information of new occupational disease cases in Ganzhou City from 2017 to 2023 was collected from the Surveillance Information System of Occupational Diseases and Health Hazard Factors.The characteristics of occupational disease,number of cases,length of service,type,region and industry distribution were analyzed descriptively.Results In total,291 new cases of occupational diseases reported,including 260 new cases of occupational pneumoconiosis,accounting for 89.35%.Among 260 cases of occupational pneumoconiosis,silicosis was the most(234 cases,90.00%).There were 186 cases of stage I pneumoconiosis,accounting for 71.54%.The average age of diagnosis was(51.88±5.64)years.The average of service length of diagnosis M(P25,P75)was 11.79(7.85,20.00)years.The distribution of pneumoconiosis in different counties had statistical significance(x2=147.436,P<0.05).The difference of pneumoconiosis stage distribution among counties was statistically significant(x2=44.679,P<0.05).The 260 new cases of occupational pneumoconiosis came from 6 industries,mainly from the mining industry(187 cases,71.92%)(x22=90.474,P<0.05).The new cases of occupational pneumoconiosis were mainly distributed in domestic enterprises,accounting for 97.69%(254/260);small and medium enterprises were the mainly enterprises,accounting for 88.85%(231/260).There was significant difference in the distribution of occupational pneumoconiosis among different sizes of enterprises(x2=23.309,P<0.05).Conclusions Considering the geographical specific of the new occupational diseases in Ganzhou,we should further strengthen the prevention and control of occupational diseases in tungsten-molybdenum ore and rare earth metal ore in key county districts.
