Effectiveness evaluation of social organization's participation in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in Luohu District of Shenzhen,2016-2022
Objective To understand the current status of social organization's participation in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment,evaluate the effectiveness of intervention,testing and follow-up of HIV/AIDS,and patient satisfaction,so as to provide the reference for the establishment of an effective and sustainable model for the participation of social organization in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.Methods The intervention testing and case follow-up data of HIV/AIDS by Luohu CDC and social organization management were collected and collated,and the number of HIV/AIDS cases reported,HIV-positive rates,core indicators of follow-up management and the level of patient satisfaction were analyzed.Results The proportion of HIV/AIDS cases found by social organization was 30.29%(762/2 516)of the reported cases in the jurisdiction.The HIV-positive rate in social organization intervention population was 4.44%,higher than that in the population visiting the healthcare institutions,which was 0.14%(x2=16 285.607,P<0.05).The rate of CD4+T testing in HIV/AIDS cases managed by social organization was 99.13%,higher than that managed by CDC,which was 94.78%(x2=8536,P<0.05).The rate of HIV/AIDS cases receiving antiretroviral therapy managed by social organization was 99.13%,higher than that managed by CDC,which was 96.67%(x2=4.146,P<0.05).In terms of the satisfaction survey,of the HIV/AIDS cases managed by social organization,93.58%thought that the constructive advice social organization provided was useful,93.12%felt that the services they provided were convenient,and 92.67%were satisfied with the attitude of social organization.Conclusions The participation of social organization in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment is practicable and feasible,and the mode of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment should be actively promoted with the CDC as the main role and having social organization's participation.
