Simulation study on Mixing Process of Double Mixed Clarification Tank
Using aqueous and organic phases as fluid media,CFD technology was used to simulate the liquid-liquid two-phase flow during the mixing process of a dual mixing clarifier.The pumping capacity,stirring torque,and two-phase mixing characteristics of the double mixed clarification tank were thoroughly studied.The simulation results show that the double mixed clarification tank has strong pumping capacity,and the torque value of the stirring blade gradually stabilizes with the increase of iteration calculations.The volume fraction of organic phase in the double mixing tank increases rapidly with iterative calculation,then slowly increases,and finally gradually stabilizes close to 0.5.Qualitative and quantitative analysis have consistency in interpreting the simulation results.
