Experimental Study on Recovery of Lead and Zinc from Carbon Slime of a Lead-zinc Mine
A lead-zinc mine is a typical carbonaceous lead-zinc mine. After the heavy medium is discarded in advance,49.36%of organic carbon can be discarded by pre-flotation decarburization, but some organic carbon still entered the flotation operation and continued to be decarburized by pre-flotation.About 10.71%and 7.92%of lead and zinc resources were lost in carbon mud concentrate. For the carbon slime concentrate, the lead content in the lead concentrate is 10.58%,the zinc content is 5.88%,and the recovery rate of lead is 48.63%.The content of zinc and lead are 21.43%and 0.98%respectively,and the recovery of zinc is 78.04%.In this method, the recovery rate of lead and zinc can be significantly improved by selecting the corresponding flotation operation according to the content of lead and zinc in the obtained crude lead and zinc concentrates.
