Example of Renovation Project of a Cadmium-containing Acidic Wastewater Treatment Station in a Coal Mine
Due to the impact of environmental protection policies, many small coal mines in the Yiyang area have been closed, but there is still leaking water around their mining areas that needs continuous treatment. In the early stage of this project, due to the incomplete diversion of rainwater and cadmium-containing wastewater, there is a big difference between the treatment scale and the actual wastewater discharge. The treatment process is not perfect, and the monitoring and automatic control of wastewater quality are relatively insufficient, and there are problems with the stability of the effluent water quality. In addition, the sludge treatment technology is relatively backward and the actual treatment capacity is insufficient. In response to the above problems,we optimized the diversion of rainwater and sewage treatment, added a regulating tank, adopted a new integrated treatment equipment for cadmium-containing acidic wastewater, selected more economical agents, improved the automation level of the control system, and improved the sludge treatment system to achieve the improvement of the operating effect and the reduction of the operating cost.
