Design of Ecological Restoration and Treatment Plan for Abandoned Soil Slope of Bauxite Slag
Bauxite,as an important mineral resource,is widely mined worldwide. However, during the mining process of bauxite,a large amount of ore residue and waste soil will be generated, forming bauxite ore residue waste soil slopes. In response to these issues, the ecological restoration plan based on vegetation concrete is studied, combined with hanging mesh reinforcement technology,to treat the abandoned soil slope of bauxite mine slag. The results showed that within 5 months, the stability coefficient of the slope increased from 1.05 to 1.28,and the vegetation coverage rate increased from 65%to 92%,proving that the scheme significantly improved the stability of the slope and the quality of the ecological environment. The proposed bauxite slope treatment plan proposed by the research institute has shown excellent performance in improving soil organic matter content, enhancing slope stability, and promoting vegetation restoration, providing an effective means for ecological restoration in mining areas.
