Determination of Phosphorus Content in Lead Free Tin Based Solder with Malachite Green-PVA-Ammonium Phosphomolybdate Pectrophotometry
A method for determination of phosphorus in lead-free tin based solder using a ternary complex system of peacock green-PVA-ammonium phosphomolybdate was proposed, which can stably exist in aqueous solutions containing polyvinyl alcohol. The maximum absorption peak of the complex is located at a wavelength of 600 nm,and the Bohr absorption coefficient ε=8.27×104 L/mol·cm.The linear regression equation is y=9.673 1x-0.076 1,with a correlation coefficient of 0.9995,and the mass of phosphorus in a 25 mL solution conforms to Lambert Beer's law within the range of 1~6 μg.The relative standard deviation for determining the phosphorus content in lead-free solder is 0.80%to 2.95%(n=11),and the recovery rate for spiking is 96.59%to 104.45%.Optimized the sample pre-treatment method and shortened the sample pre-treatment time. The colorimetric acidity range of this method is wide, the interference of coexisting ions is small, the selectivity is good, the colorimetric stability time is long, the accuracy is high, and it is easy to operate.
