The Xingfengshan gold deposit,one of the most important gold deposits in central Hunan,is located in the western part of the Shirama-yama-Long Son-Ziyunshan gold belt in central Hunan and belongs to a typical quartz veiulet type gold deposit.The Xingfengshan gold deposit occurs in the sandy slate of the Yanmenzhai Formation of the Gaojian Group.The orebody mainly occurs in the NW-trending brittle shear zone and is composed of dense quartz veins.The metal minerals are mainly arsenopyrite,pyrrhotite and pyrite,and the gangue minerals are mainly quartz and calcite.In this paper,the mineralogy of pyrrhotite in Xingfengshan mining area is studied,and the structure of pyrrhotite in wall rock slate and quartz vein is analyzed,which is great significance to promote the optimization of the ore dressing and smelting process.
