Determination of 12 Elements in Zircon by Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry
The content of inorganic elements in zircon was determined by melting XRF method, and a low dilution ratio method was used for melting sample preparation. The mass ratio of the flux used to the sample is 4:1.When preparing the sample,a mixed flux of lithium metaborate and lithium tetraborate is selected as the flux, and the ore sample was melted under these conditions.Accurately weigh the sample, then use a platinum gold crucible for sample melting, injection molding, and natural cooling. For the 12 components in the determined zircon, the relative standard deviation(RSD)of each component is less than 3%,and the relative error is less than 8%.At the same time, the relative deviation between the measurement of Zr element in zircon by method and the chemical method is less than 1%,indicating that this method can effectively meet the quantitative detection of various elements in zircon.
