Clinical Study on the Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis with Syndrome of Internal Retention of Dampness-Heat with Dampness-Resolving and Toxin-Removing Decoction
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Dampness-Resolving and Toxin-Removing Decoction on ulcerative colitis with syndrome of internal retention of dampness-heat and its influence on escherichia coli,lactobacillus and bifidobacterium.Methods:A total of 60 patients with ulcerative colitis with syndrome of internal retention of dampness-heat were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given Mesalazine En-teric-Coated Tablets orally,while the treatment group was given Dampness-Resolving and Toxin-Removing Decoction.The clinical effica-cy,the changes in clinical symptom scores before and after treatment,such as abdominal distention,abdominal pain,mucus-pus-blood stool and tenesmus,etc.were compared.The disease activity index(DAIDAI)and endoscopic scores were statistically analyzed before and after treatment.Results:The effective rate of the treatment group was 93％,while that of the control group was 80％,with a statisti-cally significant difference(P＜0.05).The clinical symptom scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treat-ment,and the scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the number of esch-erichia coli in the intestinal flora of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,and the number of lactobacillus and bifidobacte-rium was higher than that before treatment respectively,and all the differences were statistically significant between the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05).The DAI and endoscopic scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the treatment group's scores were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Dampness-Resolving and Toxin-Removing Decoction in the treatment of ulcerative colitis with syndrome of internal retention of dampness-heat has definite clinical efficacy,can regulate the number of intestinal flora in patients and effectively improve clinical symptoms.
