Research Progress of TCM in the Treatment of Helicobacter Pylori-infected Chronic Gastritis
According to TCM,the basic pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-infected chronic gastritis(hereinafter referred to as Hp gastritis)is spleen-stomach as the root cause and dampness blockage as the manifestation.Experimental research on the treatment of Hp gastritis by TCM includes the mechanism,single drug and compound drug research,while clinical research includes anti-Hp classi-cal formulas,patent Chinese medicine and combined therapy research.The current research has the following problems:(1)The syn-drome differentiation and therapeutic evaluation standards of TCM are not completely unified,which leads to the lack of convincing con-clusions.(2)Most of the reported treatment methods are self-made formulas or experience summaries,which are difficult to form a uni-fied and exact standard of diagnosis and treatment.(3)Most of the existing research is about clinical control trials,which has the disad-vantages of small sample size and loose random comparison.(4)There is lack of high-quality animal experiments and cell experiments,and there are problems such as strain selection and experimental method confusion.So the future research should consider the following:(1)To continue to carry out multi-center,large-sample,high-quality clinical research.(2)To Strictly design animal experiments and cell experiments,and establish experimental standards in advance.(3)Besides compound drug research,to perfect the extraction and a-nalysis of active ingredients of Chinese drugs,and further clarify the pharmacological mechanism of Chinese drugs.
