The Influence of Rhubarb Water Gavage Combined with Mirabilite for External Application and Ulinastatin Injection on Clinical Symptoms and Intestinal Mucosal Function in Patients with Severe Pancreatitis
Objective:To observe the influence of rhubarb water gavage combined with mirabilite for external application and ulinastatin injection on clinical symptoms and intestinal mucosal function in patients with severe pancreatitis.Methods:The clinical data of 78 pa-tients with severe pancreatitis who were diagnosed and treated in Yongfeng County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from No-vember 2019 to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided in-to the control group and the study group,with 39 cases in each group.The control group was given intravenous drip of Ulinastatin Injec-tion,and the study group was given rhubarb water gavage and mirabilite for external application on the basis of the treatment in the con-trol group.The recovery time of clinical symptoms,biochemical indexes,intestinal mucosal function,inflammatory factor levels,modified CT severity index score,acute physiology and chronic health score,and clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed.Results:The recovery time of nausea and vomiting,abdominal distension and abdominal pain,bowel sound and first exhaust time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the recovery time of blood amylase,u-rine amylase and white blood cell count in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the levels of D-lactic acid,diamine oxidase and vascular endothelin in the study group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the levels of interleukin-6,interleukin-β and tumor necrosis factor-α in the study group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,with statistically significant differ-ences(P<0.05);the modified CT severity index score and acute physiology and chronic health score in the study group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the effective rate in the study group was94.87%,while that in the control group was 79.49%,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Rhubarb water gavage combined with mirabilite for external application and ulinastatin injection can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal func-tion in patients with severe pancreatitis,strengthen gastrointestinal motility,protect intestinal mucosal function,and reduce inflammatory stress response.
