A Visualization Analysis of Knowledge Graph of Electromyography Technology in the Field of TCM
Objective:To analyze the literature research overview,hotspots and research trends of electromyography(EMG)in the field of TCM by using visual knowledge graph.Methods:The relevant literature on the application of EMG in the field of TCM included in the database of CNKI from the date of database establishment to July 17,2023 were retrieved.The author,cooperative institutions,keywords and other information were visually analyzed by CiteSpace 5.6.R5 and VOSviewer 1.6.13 software.Results:A total of 701 articles were included,and the number of published articles showed an increasing trend.There were 1,875 researchers,with Li Hong publishing the most articles.The research institutions were represented by First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.There were 720 keywords,with the highest centrality of acupuncture therapy and the highest frequency of"diabetic peripheral neuropathy".The frequency analysis showed that the most common disease in the field of EMG in TCM was diabetes-related neuropathy,the most common treatment was acupuncture,and the most common observation index was nerve conduction velocity.The analysis of emergent words showed that the research focus in recent years was focused on facial pa-ralysis and stroke-related complications.Conclusion:The research on the application of EMG technology in the field of TCM mainly fo-cuses on diabetes complicated with neuropathy,facial paralysis,stroke-related complications,cervical and lumbar diseases,polymyositis,Parkinson's disease,carpal tunnel syndrome,spinal stenosis and other diseases.The research on facial nerve diseases and stroke-related complications will become a research hotspot in this field in the future.
